A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE RESULTS OF THE REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
(RFP) AND AUTHORIZING STAFF TO EXECUTE A GUARANTEED ENERGY
SAVINGS AGREEMENT WITH MCKINSTRY FOR THE COMPLETION OF PROJECTS
RELATED TO THE CITY'S ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND CONSERVATION BLOCK
GRANT AWARD. (2009020)
WHEREAS, on June 25, 2009, the City of Plymouth submitted a grant application for the
Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant program;
WHEREAS, on September 21, 2009, the City of Plymouth was awarded an Energy
Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant in the amount of $707,200;
WHEREAS, on January 12, 2010, the City Council accepted an energy conservation
report and recommended projects and authorized staff to proceed with preparation of an RFP to
hire a consultant for final design, project management, bidding of improvements, monitoring and
reporting;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, accepts the results of the RFP and authorizes staff to execute a
guaranteed energy savings agreement with McKinstry for the completion of projects related to
the city's energy efficiency and conservation block grant award.
