A RESOLUTION TO RECEIVE PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT
AND CALL FOR A PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT HEARING
2010 MILL AND OVERLAY PROJECT

CITY PROJECT NO. 10005
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the City Council adopted January 12, 2010, a report
has been prepared with reference to the improvement of 36t1' Avenue (Area I located between
Zachary Lane and T.H. 169) and the Nathan Lane/Old County Road 15/Revere Lane (Area 2 located
East of Saratoga Lane and South of T.H. 55); and
WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the removal and replacement of the top layer
of bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter repair, sanitary and storm sewer stricture repair,
loop detector replacement, and all necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, the said report is being received by the City Council on February 9, 2010; and
WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is
necessary, cost effective, and feasible.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
The Council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance with the report
and the assessment of abutting and adjacent property within the designated 2010 Mill and
Overlay Project, City Project No. 10005 for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement
pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended)
at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $581,384.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on March 9, 2010 in the
Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:00 p.m.,
and the City Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and
improvements as required by law.
