A RESOLUTION TO
REJECT BIDS
WILD WINGS FLOOD PROTECTION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 7135
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Wild Wings Flood Protection
Improvement Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids
were received complying with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, Sunram Constriction of Corcoran, MN is the apparent lowest responsible bidder,
complying with the minimum specifications; and
WHEREAS, the United States Army Corps of Engineers and the Minnesota Pollution Control
Agency have indicated wetland mitigation will be required for this project; and
WHEREAS, the total estimated project cost is $450,000 or 250% above initial estimates:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
I. All bids for the Wild Wings Flood Protection Improvement Project, City Project No.
713 5, are hereby rejected.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids.
