HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2000-631CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2000-631 RECEIVING PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT AND CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS 2001 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT MAGNOLIA LANE NORTH OF SUNSET TRAIL CITY PROJECT NO. 1005 WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted October 10, 2000, a report has been prepared with respect to certain streets in Maintenance District 66 based upon the 2000 Pavement Management Annual Update and a petition received from 60% of the residents in the area for Street Reconstruction; and WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the reconstruction of streets by the installation of bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, said report is being received by the Council on December 19, 2000; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such area in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting and adjacent property within the designated 2001 Street Reconstruction Project, Magnolia Lane North of Sunset Trail, for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $270,036. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 23rd day of January 2001 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:00 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law.
