RESOLUTION NO. 2000-630
RECEIVING PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT AND
CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
2001 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
MAPLEDELL/MAPLE CREEK AREA
CITY PROJECT NO. 1001
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted September 26, 2000, a
report has been prepared with respect to certain streets in Maintenance District 37 based
upon the 2000 Pavement Management Annual Update; and
WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the reconstruction of streets by the
installation of bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary
appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, said report is being received by the Council on December 19, 2000;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such area in accordance
with the report and the assessment of abutting and adjacent property
within the designated 2001 Street Reconstruction Project,
Mapledell/Maple Creek Area, for all or a portion of the cost of the
improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111
(Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the
improvement of $2,204,572.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the
23rd day of January 2001 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth
City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:00 p.m., and the Clerk
shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and
improvements as required by law.
