RESOLUTION NO. 2000-604
APPROVING THE 2001 MONTHLY CONTRIBUTION TO HEALTH AND
DENTAL INSURANCE OR DEFERRED COMPENSATION FOR NON -
REPRESENTED CITY EMPLOYEES.
WHEREAS, the City Council annually reviews the compensation package for general City
employees; and
WHEREAS, the City has settled contracts with its bargaining units which will result in
increases in the City's contribution for health and dental insurance coverage; and
WHEREAS, the City has agreed in the contracts with bargaining units to contribute an
additional sum toward a deferred compensation plan for employees selecting single health
care coverage, and
WHEREAS, it has been the City's practice to compensate similar groups similarly;
WHEREAS, the City wants to extend the option of selling leave time to offset the cost of
health insurance, life insurance or to allow the employee to place additional money in
deferred compensation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should, and hereby does:
Authorizes an increase in the City's contribution to benefits according to the
following schedule for all its non -represented employees, effective January 1,
2001.

Up to $515.00 per
month
Exempt Employees Deferred $90 per month
Single Health Compensation
Coverage
Non -Exempt Health & Dental $485.00 per month
Employees Family Insurance Premium plus $60 on the first
Health Coverage paycheck of 2001
Non -Exempt
Employees Single
Health Coverage
Deferred
Compensation
