HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2000-594CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 2000-594 APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR PLAZA PROPERTIES TO ALLOW A MINOR AUTO REPAIR USE INVOLVING INSTALLATION OF AFTER- MARKET ACCESSORIES ONTO AUTOMOBILES, FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 14440 -28TH PLACE NORTH (20172) WHEREAS, Plaza Properties has requested a conditional use permit to allow a minor auto repair use at property legally described as follows: Lot 2, Block 1, Circle Star Business Center 5th Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public Hearing and recommends approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request by Plaza Properties for a conditional use permit, subject to the following conditions: 1. A conditional use permit is approved for a minor auto repair use involving installation of after -market accessories such as pick-up toppers, bed liners, hitches, bug guards, running boards, and the like, as shown on the application and plans received by the City on November 2, 2000. 2. There shall be no outdoor service operations. 3. No outside storage, sales, or rental shall be allowed unless specifically allowed by separate administrative permit. 4. No outside storage of parts, equipment, or inoperable vehicles shall be allowed. Resolution 2000-594 (20172) Page 2 of 2 5. Standard Conditions: A. Any subsequent phases or expansions of building or use are subject to required reviews and approvals per Ordinance provisions. B. The permit is subject to all applicable codes, regulations and ordinances, and violation thereof shall be grounds for revocation. C. This approval shall expire one year after the date of approval, unless the property owner or applicant has substantially started construction of the project, or unless the landowner or applicant has received prior approval from the City to extend the expiration date for up to one additional year, as regulated under Section 21015.07 of the Zoning Ordinance.
