RESOLUTION NO. 2000-586
APPROVING CONSTRUCTION COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT
COUNTY ROAD 101 IMPROVEMENTS
COUNTY PROJECT NO. 8911
CITY PROJECT NO. 9005
WHEREAS, the City and County have been working cooperatively for the improvement of County
Road 101 from approximately Highway 55 to County Road 24; and
WHEREAS, Hennepin County has prepared Agreement No. PW -47-17-00 for the project and
presented it to the City of Plymouth for approval; and
WHEREAS, a provision which applies to design engineering costs in the agreement is not in
accordance with standard County policy; and
WHEREAS, the City should only be responsible for costs as defined in County policy..
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Agreement No. PW -47-17-00 is hereby approved subject to the following condition,
and the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to sign the agreement on behalf of the
City.
2. Section 9 of said agreement and associated exhibit "A" shall be modified to delete the
requirement that the City is responsible for 50% of the engineering design cost
incurred by the County for the design of the road project.
3. Section 9 shall be revised to include the standard County provision that the City is
responsible for 10% of the total final amount of the City's share of contract
construction cost for the project.
