RESOLUTION NO. 2000-573
DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
STREET LIGHTING
11210 AND 11215 — 12TH AVENUE NORTH
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from the property owner of 11210 and 11215 —
12th Avenue North requesting installation of residential street lighting on 12th Avenue
North.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
A certain petition requesting the improvement of 11210 and 11215 — 12th Avenue
North by the installation of a mast arm street light on an existing pole, filed with the
City Council on November 28, 2000, is hereby declared to be signed by the required
percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in
conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035.
2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they have waived
their rights to public improvement and special assessment hearings.
The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to
the City Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way
as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best
be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the
estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
