HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2000-561CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2000-561 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF PART OF THE DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS WITHIN LOTS 2 AND 3, BLOCK 1 KEYWAY FIRST ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate part of the drainage and utility easements within Lots 2 and 3, Block 1, Keyway First Addition; and WHEREAS, said petition was signed by a majority of the owners of the land abutting the area proposed to be vacated; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for November 14, 2000 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of November 14, 2000; and WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by mail; and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on November 14, 2000 to inform any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of the drainage and utility easements within Lots 2 and 3, Block 1, Keyway First Addition; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for public purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following drainage and utility easements be vacated: C:ADoc=cnts and Settings\lbaird\Local Settings\Temp\CCR 2000-561_67444\CCR 2000-561.doc Resolution No. 2000-561 Page 2 The east 10 feet of Lot 2, Block 1, Keyway First Addition, according to the recorded plat thereof, except the north 10 feet and the south 10 feet thereof. ALSO The west 10 feet of Lot 3, Block 1, Keyway First Addition, according to the recorded plat thereof, except the north 10 feet and the south 10 feet thereof.
