HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2000-529CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 2000-529 APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT FOR THE PLYMOUTH PONDS BUSINESS PARK PUD, LOCATED SOUTH OF HWY 55, NORTH OF MEDINA ROAD. (20140) WHEREAS, Moen Leuer Construction, Inc. has requested a PUD (Planned Unit Development) general plan amendment for property legally described as: Lot 3, Block 1, Plymouth Ponds Business Park Third Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota. WHEREAS, the Plymouth Zoning Ordinance requires a text amendment for a PUD Amendment; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called public hearing and recommends approval; and WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted an ordinance amending the Zoning Ordinance text for the affected parcels. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does support and approve the request by Moen Leuer Construction, Inc. for a PUD general plan amendment and related Zoning Ordinance text amendment, based on the following findings: 1. The proposed use of the property is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan. 2. The proposed use is consistent with the original PUD general plan due to the minimal truck traffic produced. 3. The PUD amendment would not require any changes to the site, utility, landscaping, lighting, or grading plans. ADOPTED by the City Council on October 24, 2000.
