RESOLUTION NO. 2000-524
APPOINTING CITY OF PLYMOUTH REPRESENTATIVE
BASSETT CREEK WATER MANAGEMENT COMMISSION
POLICY ADVISORY GROUP
SECOND GENERATION SURFACE WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN
WHEREAS, the Bassett Creek Water Management Commission is in the process of
preparing their Second Generation Surface Water Management Plan; and
WHEREAS, they have established a planning process for citizen, public and City
involvement in the preparation of the plan; and
WHEREAS, as part of this process a "Policy Advisory Group" is being established; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of this group will be the evaluation of such matters as the
respective powers and responsibilities of the commission and each of its member cities. The
process will address such questions as whether the commission or cities are responsible for
constructing and maintaining major storm water management capital infrastructure and how
said projects will be funded, and
WHEREAS, it is recommended that this representative be a staff or councilmember of the
City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That Councilmember Ginny Black is appointed as
the City representative to the Policy Advisory Group.
