RESOLUTION AWARDING BID
TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNAL SYSTEMS
CARLSON PARKWAY AT GLEASON LAKE DRIVE
CITY PROJECT NO. 9910
N.W. BOULEVWARD AT WEST MEDICINE LAKE DRIVE
CITY PROJECT NO. 5019
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of Traffic Control Signal
Systems at Carlson Parkway at Gleason Lake Drive and N.W. Boulevard at W. Medicine Lake
Drive and all necessary appurtenances, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to
law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

Electrical Installation & Maintenance Co. 287,873.00
Ridgedale Electric, Inc. 297,225.00
WHEREAS; it appears that Elec. Installation and Maintenance Co. of Maple Plain, MN is the
lowest responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached
contract with. Elec. Installation and Maintenance Co. of Maple Plain, MN in the name of the
City of Plymouth for the construction of Traffic Control Signal Systems at Carlson Parkway
at Gleason Lake Drive and N.W. Boulevard at W. Medicine Lake Drive according to the
plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the
City Clerk in the amount of $287,873.00
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders and the
deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next
lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
