RESOLUTION NO. 2010-020
A RESOLUTION TO ORDER PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT
2010 MILL AND OVERLAY PROJECT
36TH AVENUE, TH 169 TO ZACHARY LANE
AND
NATHAN LANE/ TH 55 FRONTAGE ROAD/ REVERE LANE AREA
CITY PROJECT NO. 10005
WHEREAS, the capital Improvements Program (CIP) made recommendations for the 2010
Mill and Overlay Project; and
WHEREAS, it is recommended that the Nathan Lane /TH 55 Frontage Road/Revere Lane area
be moved from the 2011 program to the 2010 program and Lancaster Lane be deferred to a later date;
and
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve 36th Ave from TH 169 to Zachary Lane and the Nathan
Lane/TH 55/ Revere Lane area and to assess the benefited properties for a portion of the cost of the
improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. That the proposed improvement be referred to the City Engineer for study and is instructed
to report to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a
preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and
feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some
other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
