HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2000-474CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2000-474 APPROVING THE INSTALLATION OF SPEED HUMPS ON NIAGARA LANE BETWEEN GLEASON LAKE DRIVE AND 9TH AVENUE WHEREAS, the City Council adopted a policy for the consideration of the installation of speed humps through approval of Resolution No. 99-294 on July 6, 1999; and WHEREAS, the policy contains criteria concerning the volume and speed of traffic as well as a required petition signed by over 75% of the property owners whose property directly accesses the street on which the speed humps are proposed; and WHEREAS, the Speed Hump Policy also contains notification requirements and design guidelines for speed hump installation, all of which have been met. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That four speed humps be installed on Niagara Lane from Gleason Lake Drive to 9th Avenue, in accordance with the preliminary location design prepared by engineering staff and the "guidelines for the design and application of speed humps." Adopted by the City Council on September 26, 2000. STATE OF MINNESOTA) COUNTY OF HENNEPIN) SS.
