RESOLUTION NO. 2010-017
AWARD CONTRACT FOR
CAMPUS DRIVE/26TH AVENUE MILL AND OVERLAY AND
CULVERT REPLACEMENT PROJECT, CITY PROJECT NO. 8107
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvements located on Campus
Drive from County Road 61 to Teakwood Lane, and 26th Avenue from Teakwood Lane to Sycamore
Lane by reconstruction and bituminous resurfacing of streets with the installation of bituminous
pavement, concrete curb and gutter installation and repair, storm sewer installation and repair, and
all necessary appurtenances, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, it appears that Ryan Contracting Co. of Elko, MN is the lowest responsible bidder
complying with the minimum specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the contract for the
Base Bid with Ryan Contracting Co. of Elko, MN in the name of the City of Plymouth for the
improvement of the area located on Campus Drive from County Road 61 to Teakwood Lane, and
26t' Avenue from Teakwood Lane to Sycamore Lane, according to the plans and specifications
therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Engineer in the
amount of $376,826.90.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits
made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder
shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
