RESOLUTION NO. 2000-463
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID
VICKSBURG LANE IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT NO. 9919
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the Vickburg Lane
Improvements, and all necessary appurtenances, bids were received, opened and tabulated
according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

Hardrives, Inc. $368,947.78
Buffalo Bituminous, Inc. $385,000.00
Eureka Construction $390,447.65
Thomas & Sons Construction, Inc. $420,779.61
Midwest Asphalt Corporation $439,129.43
WHEREAS, it appears that Hardrives, Inc. of Rogers, MN is the lowest responsible bidder,
complying with the minimum specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the contract with
Hardrives, Inc. of Rogers, MN in the name of the City of Plymouth for the construction of
Vicksburg Lane Improvement according to the plans and specifications on file in the office of
the City Clerk in the amount of $368,947.78.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits
made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest
bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
Adopted by the City Council on September 26, 2000.
