NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request of Homestead Village for a one-year extension of the approval for a final plat and a second one-year extension of the approvals for a site plan, conditional use permit, interim use permit, and variances to allow construction of an 118 -unit extended stay hotel, subject to the following findings and conditions: 1. A one-year extension of the final plat approval is granted, subject to the conditions listed in Resolution 98-471. 2. A second one-year extension to the development approvals is granted, subject to the conditions listed in Resolution 98-470. 3. The extensions are granted based on the finding that the complexity of assembling the parcels, clearing debris from the site and coordinating the off-site wetland mitigation are unique to this site and require additional time to complete. Furthermore, Homestead Village has restructured internally, which resulted in a delay in project development. 4. The extension of the development approvals shall expire on August 5, 2001.
