RESOLUTION NO. 2000-448
SETTING PUBLIC HEARING DATE TO AUTHORIZING A TAX RATE INCREASE
FOR THE 2000 TAX LEVY, COLLECTIBLE IN 2001 PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA
STATUTES 275.078
WHEREAS, the City Council has preliminary reviewed the proposed taxes to be levied in 2000,
collectible in 2001; and
WHEREAS, the tax levy as proposed will require a tax rate increase in accordance with the
formula used in Minnesota Statutes 275.078; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing is required to hear comments regarding the tax rate increase.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that a public hearing is set for September 26, 2000 to
hear comments regarding the proposed tax rate increase pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 275.078
for the taxes to be levied in 2000, collectible in 2001.
