HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2000-440CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2000-440 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS AND UTILITY AND DRAINAGE EASEMENT FOR PONDING PURPOSES IN OUTLOT G, ROCKFORD GLEN ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate drainage and utility easements and utility and drainage easement for ponding purposes in Outlot G, Rockford Glen Addition; and WHEREAS, said petition was signed by a majority of the owners of the land abutting the area proposed to be vacated; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for September 5, 2000 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of September 5, 2000; and WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by mail; and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on September 5, 2000 to inform any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of drainage and utility easements and utility and drainage easement for ponding purposes in Outlot G, Rockford Glen Addition; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for public purposes; C:ADoc=cnts and Settingsubaird\Local Settings\Temp\CCR 2000-440_67324\CCR 2000-440.doc Resolution No. 2000-440 Page 2 of 2 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following drainage and utility easements and utility and drainage easement for ponding purposes in Outlot G, Rockford Glen Addition be vacated: All of the drainage and utility easements and utility and drainage easement for ponding purposes, as dedicated in Outlot G in the plat of Rockford Glen Addition, according to the recorded plat thereof and situate in Hennepin County, Minnesota. Adopted by the City Council on September 5, 2000. STATE OF MINNESOTA) COUNTY OF HENNEPIN) SS. The undersigned, being the duly qualified and appointed City Clerk of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, certifies that I compared the foregoing resolution adopted at a meeting of the Plymouth City Council on September 5, 2000, with the original thereof on file in my office, and the same is a correct transcription thereof.
