RESOLUTION NO. 2000-412
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF
A PERMANENT EASEMENT FOR STORM SEWER PURPOSES
OUTLOT I, SUGAR HILLS ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate an easement for storm sewer purposes, Outlot I, Sugar
Hills Addition; and
WHEREAS, said petition was signed by a majority of the owners of the land abutting the area
proposed to be vacated; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for August 22, 2000 in
accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the
meeting of August 22, 2000; and
WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by mail; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on August 22, 2000 to inform any and all interested
parties relevant to the vacation of the storm sewer easement in Outlot I, Sugar Hills Addition; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easement was not needed for public
purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following easement for storm sewer purposes be vacated:

DESCRIPTION OF PARCEL: Outlot I, Sugar Hills Addition, formerly
The East 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 in Section 20, Township 118, Rang 22.
DESCRIPTION OF EASEMENT:
A permanent easement for storm sewer purposes over, under, across and through that portion of
the above-described parcel described as follows: Commencing from the intersection of the East
line of Section 20 and the centerline of the westbound traffic lane of State Highway #55, thence
North along said section line a distance of 575 feet to actual point of beginning, thence West
perpendicular to said section line a distance of 120 feet, thence North parallel to said section line
a distance of 50 feet, thence East perpendicular to said section line a distance of 120 feet, thence
South along said section line to actual point of beginning; and
A permanent easement for drainage purposes over, under, across and through that portion of the
above-described parcel described as follows: Commencing from the intersection of the East
line of Section 20 and the centerline of the westbound traffic lane of State Highway #55, thence
North along said section line a distance of 575 feet, thence West perpendicular to said section
line a distance of 120 feet to actual point of beginning, thence West perpendicular to said
section line a distance of 400 feet, thence North parallel to said section line a distance of 50
feet, thence East perpendicular to said section line a distance of 400 feet, thence South to actual
point of beginning. Recorded under document number 4604357.
