RESOLUTION NO. 2000-411
AUTHORIZATION TO SUBMIT GRANT PROPOSAL
TO THE GREATER WAYZATA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
FOR DEVELOPMENT A YOUTH SKATE PARK
WHEREAS, the Greater Wayzata Community Foundation is currently seeking grant proposals;
and
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation has reviewed said requests for proposals; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation is recommending that the City apply for a
$35,000 grant for the development of a youth skate park; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and concurred with said recommendation from the
Director of Parks and Recreation;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the Director of Parks and Recreation is
hereby authorized to submit a grant application in the amount of $35,000 to the Greater Wayzata
Foundation for the development of a youth skate park within the City of Plymouth.
Adopted by the City Council on August 22, 2000.
