HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2000-403CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 2000-403 APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR DAVID AINSWORTH TO CONSTRUCT A 1,170 -SQUARE FOOT ATTACHED GARAGE ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 950 GARLAND LANE NORTH (20113) WHEREAS, David Ainsworth has requested a conditional use permit to allow the construction of a 1,115 -square foot attached garage on property legally described as follows: Lot 5, Block 3, Cityview Acres 2nd Unit. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public Hearing and recommends approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request by David Ainsworth for a conditional use permit, subject to the following conditions: 1. A conditional use permit is approved to construct a 1,170 -square foot attached garage on property located at 950 Garland Lane North, as shown on the application and plans received on July 7, 2000. 2. The attached garage shall be used for the storage of personal belongings and automobiles only. The garage shall not be used for a home occupation or other business related activities. 3. Standard Conditions: A. Any subsequent phases or expansions are subject to required reviews and approvals per Ordinance provisions. Resolution 2000-403 (20113) Page 2 of 2 B. The permit is subject to all applicable codes, regulations and ordinances, and violation thereof shall be grounds for revocation. C. This approval shall expire one year after the date of approval, unless the property owner or applicant has substantially started construction of the project, or unless the landowner or applicant has received prior approval from the City to extend the expiration date for up to one additional year, as regulated under Section 21015.07 of the Zoning Ordinance.
