RESOLUTION NO. 2010-010
A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AGREEMENT WITH KIDS AROUND THE WORLD
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth annually removes and replaces playgrounds at various parks;
and
WHEREAS, Kids Around The World is a non-profit organization which relocates used
playgrounds to overseas countries; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth wishes to enter into an agreement with Kids Around the
World for reusing old playgrounds; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the director of Parks and Recreation is authorized to make
available to Kids Around the World Plymouth playgrounds which are annually being removed from the
City's park system, and fiirther, it is acknowledged that Kids Around the World is assuming all liability
for reuse of Plymouth playgrounds and fiirther, that a signed waiver will be completed for each
transaction.
