RESOLUTION NO. 2000-385
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID
LIFT STATION NO. 2 (MISSION FARMS)
CITY PROJECT NO. 8030
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Lift Station No. 2 (Mission Farms) bids
were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received
complying with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, it appears that Rice Lake Contracting, Corporation of Deerwood, Minnesota is the
lowest responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the contract
with Rice Lake Contracting, Corporation of Deerwood, Minnesota in the name of the City of
Plymouth for the construction of Lift Station No. 2 (Mission Farms) and Utilities, City
Project No. 8030 according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City
Council and on file in the office of the City Engineer in the amount of $1,164,400.00,
including the "Deduct" to the Base Bid.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next
lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
