RESOLUTION NO. 2000-381
RESOLUTION DESIGNATING A HANDICAPPED TRANSFER ZONE
AND AUTHORIZING SIGNAGE FOR PILOT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City has experienced some problems with individuals blocking
handicapped access to a curb cut area at the apartment complex located at 135 and 235 Nathan
Lane in the City of Plymouth; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted an ordinance on June 27th allowing for the
designation and enforcement of handicapped transfer zones; and
WHEREAS, as a pilot project, the City will provide the signage for this location.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, the City Council adopt the resolution designating handicapped
transfer zones at 135 and 235 Nathan Lane in the City of Plymouth and allowing City staff to
provide the signage required at these locations.
