RESOLUTION NO. 2000-365
ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE VACATION OF
PART OF A STORM SEWER EASEMENTS WITHIN
OUTLOT I SUGAR HILLS ADDITION
WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06, Jay M. Scott has
petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the following storm sewer easement:
DESCRIPTION OF PARCEL: Outlot I Sugar Hills Addition, formerly
The East 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 in Section 20, Township 118, Rang
22.
DESCRIPTION OF EASEMENT:
A permanent easement for storm sewer purposes over, under, across and through that
portion of the above-described parcel described as follows: Commencing from the
intersection of the East line of Section 20 and the centerline of the westbound traffic lane of
State Highway #55, thence North along said section line a distance of 575 feet to actual
point of beginning, thence West perpendicular to said section line a distance of 120 feet,
thence North parallel to said section line a distance of 50 feet, thence East perpendicular to
said section line a distance of 120 feet, thence South along said section line to actual point
of beginning; and
A permanent easement for drainage purposes over, under, across and through that portion
of the above-described parcel described as follows: Commencing from the intersection of
the East line of Section 20 and the centerline of the westbound traffic lane of State
Highway #55, thence North along said section line a distance of 575 feet, thence West
perpendicular to said section line a distance of 120 feet to actual point of beginning, thence
West perpendicular to said section line a distance of 400 feet, thence North parallel to said
section line a distance of 50 feet, thence East perpendicular to said section line a distance of
400 feet, thence South to actual point of beginning. Recorded under document number

AND WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be
in order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of August
22, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth
Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the
administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law.
