RESOLUTION NO. 2000-342
APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE
PLYMOUTH ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON TRANSIT
WHEREAS, the Plymouth City Council adopted Resolution No. 99-497, establishing the
Plymouth Advisory Committee on Transit (PACT) and determining its membership to be
seven, including at least four members who are regular users of the Plymouth Metrolink
transit system; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 99-497 stated that PACT members are to serve three year
staggered terms; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has made three appointments to the PACT with terms of
service as follows
• Mike Cagley — Term expires January 31, 2003 (Bus rider)
• Bill Magratten — Term expires January 31, 2003 (Member at large)
• Ralph Durand — Term expires January 31, 2002 (Member at large); and
WHEREAS, four open position exist on the PACT, with at least three of these positions to
be filled by transit system users; and
WHEREAS, applications have been received from Plymouth residents seeking appointment
to the PACT with an appropriate mix of transit system users and non-users.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following individuals be appointed to the
Plymouth Advisory Committee on Transit for the stated terms of service:
• Mary Poprocki — Term expires January 31, 2002 (Bus rider)
• Barb Roberts — Term expires January 31, 2002 (Bus Rider)
• Hein Venlaarkoven — Term expires January 31, 2001 (Bus rider)
• Paul Tegan — Term expires January 31, 2001 (Member at large)
