HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2000-335CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 2000-335 ESTABLISHING CONDITIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A NOISE WALL SOUTH OF BUILDING 5 IN THE PLYMOUTH PONDS DEVELOPMENT LOCATED NORTH OF MEDINA ROAD, EAST OF LAWNDALE LANE, AND WEST OF HOLLY LANE (20038) WHEREAS, the PUD general plan approval for Plymouth Ponds, Building 5-8 required the applicant to construct a noise wall to the south of Building 5; and WHEREAS, the PUD general plan required that the design of the noise wall be reviewed by the Planning Commission and approved by the City Council; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the noise assessment and design of the noise wall at a duly called public meeting. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it hereby provides the following conditions related to the construction of the noise wall: 1. Prior to issuance of a building permit for Building 5, the applicant shall submit a revised grading plan for the south side of Building 5 showing the berm and wall. 2. The berm and wall shall be designed to a minimum elevation of 1010 feet. 3. The wall shall begin 30 feet from the west end of Building 5 and extend to the east 400 feet. 4. The noise wall shall consist of a solid wood fence with planking that is a minimum of one-half inch in thickness. 5. The noise wall shall be painted to match the buildings. 6. The noise wall shall be in place prior to issuance of a certificate of occupancy for Building 5. Resolution 2000-335 (2003 8) Page 2 7. If necessary, the landscape plan shall be revised to accommodate the noise wall or increase berm height. Any changes to the landscape plan shall be submitted with the revised grading plan as required above. Adopted by the City Council on July 11, 2000. STATE OF MINNESOTA) COUNTY OF HENNEPIN) SS.
