RESOLUTION NO. 2000-334
REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 7 AND FINAL
1998 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT - PHASE II
CITY PROJECT NO. 8001
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Hardrives, Inc. as contractor, have
entered into an agreement for 1998 Street Reconstruction Project — Phase II, City Project
No. 8001, said agreement being dated July 2, 1998; and
WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the
final request for payment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. That the original contract amount was $1,498,400.93. Two (2) change
orders were approved in the amount of $47,094.10 and the value of the
work to date is $1,466,666.01 and is herewith approved. This project does
not exceed the revised contract amount.
2. That the work performed by the contractor for 1998 Street Reconstruction
Project - Phase II and certified to the Council by the engineer as
acceptable, being the same, is hereby released from the engineer as
acceptable from the contract except as to the conditions of the performance
bond, any and all legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and
correction of faulty work after final payment.
3. Request for Payment No. 7 and Final in the amount of $29,333.32 to
Hardrives, Inc. for 1998 Street Reconstruction Project — Phase II is hereby
approved and the City Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed
to pay the same forthwith.
