HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2000-316CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2000-316 AUTHORIZING "NO PARKING" RESTRICTIONS ON 46TH AVENUE FROM ARROWOOD LANE TO COTTONWOOD LANE AND ON BALSAM LANE CUL-DE-SAC SOUTH OF 46TH AVENUE FROM 5:30 P.M. TO 8:30 P.M. MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY, APRIL THROUGH OCTOBER WHEREAS, there is a significant amount of on street parking on 46th Avenue from Arrowood Lane to Cottonwood Lane and on Balsam Lane Cul -De -Sac south of 46th Avenue during the late afternoon and evening time periods during the spring, summer, and fall sports seasons; and WHEREAS, such parking creates a public nuisance, potential traffic congestion, potential pedestrian safety problems and an increase in traffic levels; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it hereby, authorizes the installation of signs at the following locations. "No Parking" 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Thurday, April through October on both sides of 46th Avenue from Arrowood Lane to Cottonwood Lane and on both sides of Balsam Lane Cul -De -Sac out to 46th Avenue. Adopted by the City Council on June 27, 2000. STATE OF MINNESOTA) COUNTY OF HENNEPIN) SS.
