HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2000-309CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2000-309 APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE PERSONNEL POLICY REVISING THE TUITION REIMBURSEMENT POLICY WHEREAS, City staff periodically reviews Personnel Policy and recommends changes to better align the policy with the needs of employees and the external employment market; and WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended adding regular part time and paid on call firefighters access to tuition reimbursement and amending the allowed amount paid per credit; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, that it should and hereby does approve amendments to the Personnel Policy in Sections 3-17.2 and 3-17.3, thereof, making regular part time employees working more than 20 hours per week and non -probationary paid on call firefighters eligible for tuition reimbursement, and amending the maximum amount paid per credit to $154.50. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above amendment will be effective on June 27, 2000. Adopted by the City Council on June 27, 2000.
