HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2000-300CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2000-300 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF TOWNSHIP ROAD IN SECTION 4 WHEREAS, the City Council by its own motion proposed the vacation of Township Road in Section 4; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for June 12, 2000 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of June 12, 2000; and WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by mail; and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on June 12, 2000 to inform any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of a Township Road in Section 4; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for public purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following Township Road in Section 4 be vacated: That part of the Township Road located in the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter and the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 4, Township 118, Range 22 as shown on the "Plat of Survey of NW. 1/4 of Section 4, T 118-R22", recorded as Document No. 164971, files of Registrar of Titles that lies north of the right of way as shown on "Hennepin County Highway Number 47, Plat 13", recorded as Document No. 1023 83 1, files of Registrar of Titles, all in Hennepin County, Minnesota.
