HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2000-299CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2000-299 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF A PUBLIC ROAD SILVERTHORNE 4TH ADDITION WHEREAS, the City Council by its own motion proposed the vacation of a public road in Silverthorne 4th Addition; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for June 12, 2000 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of June 12, 2000; and WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by mail; and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on June 12, 2000 to inform any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of a public road in Silverthorne 4th Addition; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for public purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following public road in Silverthorne 4th Addition be vacated: All of the public road, as dedicated in Outlot F in the plat of Silverthorne 4th Addition, according to the recorded plat thereof and situate in Hennepin County, Minnesota.
