HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2000-289CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2000-289 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE VACATION OF A SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT ACQUIRED AS PARCEL 44 IN PARTIAL FINAL CERTIFICATE AND ORDER DOCUMENT NO. 3705296 WAYZATA SCHOOL DISTRICT WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06, Ted Kemna on behalf of the Wayzata School District has petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the following sanitary sewer easement acquired as Parcel 44 in partial Final Certificate and order Document No. 3705296: That part of the Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter Section 34, Township 118 North of Range 22 West lying West of the East 272.22 feet thereof and lying South of the Southerly right-of-way line of County Road No. 15. Lying within a 60 foot strip of land centered upon the following described centerline: Commencing at a point on the East line of the said Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter distant 620 feet North of the Southeast corner thereof, thence West parallel to the South line of said Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter for a distance of 183.76 feet, thence deflecting to the left at a deflection angle of 25 degrees 04 minutes for a distance of 212.38 feet, thence deflecting to the right at a deflection angle of 59 degrees 51 minutes for a distance of 498.11 feet to a point hereinafter referred to as "Point A", thence deflecting to the right at a deflection angle of 10 degrees 40 minutes to the Southerly right-of-way line of Hennepin County Road No. 15; and commencing at the above-described "Point A" thence deflecting to the right at a deflection angle of 85 degrees to the Southerly right-of-way line of Hennepin County Road No. 15 and there terminating; and the Westerly 420 feet of the Northerly 30 feet of the above- described parcel; and the Easterly 40 feet of the Westerly 450 feet of the Northerly 40 feet of the above-described parcel. and Perpetual easements over that part of the above-described parcel lying within a 20 foot strip of land centered upon the above-described centerline; and the Northerly 10 feet of the Westerly 430 feet of the above-described parcel; and the Easterly 20 feet of the Westerly 460 feet of the Northerly 20 feet of the above described parcel. AND WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order; Resolution No. 2000-289 Page 2 of 2 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of July 11, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law.
