HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2000-288CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2000-288 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE VACATION OF A PERPETUAL EASEMENT FOR STREET PURPOSES WAYZATA SCHOOL DISTRICT DOCUMENT NO. 3426092 WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06, Ted Kemna on behalf of the Wayzata School District has petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the following perpetual street easement: A perpetual easement for street purposes over and across all that part of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 34, Township 118 North, Range 22 West of the 5th Principal Meridian which lies within the following described boundaries: Beginning at a point on the center line of Teakwood Lane which is 33 feet north of the south line of said Section 34; thence east along a line parallel with the south line of said Section 34 a distance of 30 feet; thence northeasterly at an angle of 83 degrees 39 minutes a distance of 370 feet; thence south along a line parallel with the west line of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of said Section 34 to the south line of said Section 34; thence west along the south line of said Section 34 to the center line of Teakwood Lane; thence north along the center line of Teakwood Lane a distance of 30 feet as recorded by Document No. 3426091. AND WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of July 11, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law. Adopted by the City Council on June 12, 2000.
