HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2000-287CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2000-287 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE VACATION OF A PERPETUAL EASEMENT FOR STREET AND UTILITY PURPOSES WAYZATA SCHOOL DISTRICT WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06, Ted Kemna on behalf of the Wayzata School District has petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the following perpetual street and utility easement: DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY: That part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 34, Township 118 North, Range 22 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian lying west of the East 272.22 feet thereof and lying South of the southerly line of Sunset Trail North (formerly known as County Road No. 7, also formerly known as County Road No. 15). DESCRIPTION OF EASEMENT: A perpetual easement for street and utility purposes over, under, across, and through that part of the above described property lying South of the following described line: Commencing at a point on the centerline of Teakwood Lane 33 feet North of the south line of said Section 34; thence East along a line parallel with the south line of said Section 34 a distance of 30 feet; thence northeasterly at an angle of 83 degrees, 39 minutes a distance of 370 feet to the point of beginning. Thence continuing along the last described course of 83 degrees, 39 minutes, to the point of intersection with the east line of the above described property description as recorded under Document No. 6743415. AND WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of July 11, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law. Adopted by the City Council on June 12, 2000.
