HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2000-281CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2000-281 AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE FROM CONTINGENCY FUND PLYMOUTH BOULEVARD/HIGHWAY 55 INTERSECTION CITY PROJECT NO. 9915 WHEREAS, the City Council has approved, as part of the Capital Improvements Program, expenditures for landscaping/sign improvements on Plymouth Boulevard within the City Center Area; and WHEREAS, in the future reconstruction of the intersection of Highway 55 and Plymouth Boulevard will be necessary to meet traffic demands; and WHEREAS, a preliminary layout of the intersection should be completed in order that the landscaping project coordinates with future traffic improvements. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That staff is directed to proceed with the preliminary intersection layout as proposed by SRF Consulting Group, Inc. in their proposal dated May 9, 2000. FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED: That funding in the amount of up to $9,000 is allocated from the Contingency Fund (101-1830-7729) of the year 2000 budget. Adopted by the City Council on June 12, 2000.
