RESOLUTION NO. 2000-270
RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
11TH AVENUE STREET CONSTRUCTION PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 9911
WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of l I'h Avenue from South Shore Drive
east to the cul de sac by the construction of the street including the installation of bituminous
pavement, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer and all necessary appurtenances, and the
estimated final contract price for such improvement is $49,529.58 and the expenses incurred or to
be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to be $11,405.91 so the total estimated
cost of the improvement is $60,935.49 and of this cost the City of Plymouth will pay $34,020.86
as its share of the cost;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be
$26,914.63.
2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the
proper amount to be special assessed from such improvement against every assessable
lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash
valuation, as provided by the law, and shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in
the office for public inspection.
3. The Clerk shall upon completion of such proposed assessment notify the City Council
thereof.
