RESOLUTION NO. 2000-245
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER,
FINANCE DIRECTOR, AND PUBLIC SAFETY DIRECTOR
TO ENTER INTO A GRANT AGREEMENT THROUGH THE
MINNESOTA AUTO THEFT PREVENTION BOARD
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Auto Theft Prevention Board has made monies available
through a grant process to target the issue of auto thefts; and
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Police Department has developed and proposed a program of
community education and proactive decoy operations to deal with this issue and did receive a
grant in 1999; and
WHEREAS, we are requesting a grant in the amount of $29,502 to continue this work for
this year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, the City Council adopt the resolution authorizing the City
Manager, Finance Director, and Public Safety Director to enter into a grant agreement through
the Minnesota Auto Theft Prevention Board.
