RESOLUTION NO. 2000-219
RECEIVING PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT AND
CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
111h AVENUE STREET CONSTRUCTION PROJECT
SOUTH SHORE DRIVE TO CUL DE SAC EAST
CITY PROJECT NO. 9911
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted March 21, 2000 a report has
been prepared with respect to improving 111'` Avenue from South Shore Drive to Cul De
Sac East ; and
WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the reconstruction of streets by the
installation of bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, and all
necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, said report was received by the Council on April 25, 2000;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such area in accordance
with the report and the assessment of abutting and adjacent property
within the designated 111'` Avenue Street Construction Project area for
all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota
Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at
an estimated total cost of the improvement of $57,368.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the
9th day of May, 2000 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City
Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:00 p.m., and the Clerk shall
give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as
required by law.
