RESOLUTION 2000-214
APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR KENNETH SEARL FOR
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 14700 -28TH AVENUE NORTH (20037)
WHEREAS, Kenneth Searl has requested approval of a conditional use permit to allow up
to 57 percent office use in the industrially -zoned building located at 14700 -28th Avenue
North; and,
WHEREAS, the property is legally described as follows:
Lot 4, Block 1, Circle Star Business Center 2nd Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called Public
Hearing and recommends approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the
request by Kenneth Searl for a conditional use permit to allow 57 percent office use in the
industrially -zoned building located at 14700 -28th Avenue North, subject to the following
conditions:
1. The conditional use permit allows up to 21,430 square feet (57 percent) of office use
at the 37,542 square -foot building located at 14700 -28th Avenue North, in accordance
with the application and plans received by the City on March 21, 2000, except as
amended by this resolution.
2. The appropriate building permits must be obtained by the applicant prior to
construction of the additional office space within this building.
3. Standard Conditions:
a. The permit is subject to all applicable codes, regulations and ordinances, and
violation thereof shall be grounds for revocation.

b. Any subsequent phases or expansions are subject to required reviews and
approvals per Ordinance provisions.
c. This approval shall expire one year after the date of approval, unless the
property owner or applicant has commenced the use, or unless the landowner or
applicant has received prior approval from the City to extend the expiration date
for up to one additional year, as regulated under Section 21015.07 of the Zoning
Ordinance.
