HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2000-207CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2000-207 RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS HOLLY LANE FROM OLD ROCKFORD ROAD TO CP RAILROAD RIGHT OF WAY CITY PROJECT NO. 9024 WHEREAS, a report has been prepared by the City's consulting engineer with respect to improvements to Holly Lane from Old Rockford Road to the CP Railroad south right of way; and WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the reconstruction of Holly Lane by the installation of bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, watermain, a bituminous trail, and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, said report is being received by the Council on April 11, 2000. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such project in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting and adjacent property along Holly Lane from Old Rockford Road to the CP Railroad right of way for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $1,128,684. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 23th day of May, 2000 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:00 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law.
