RESOLUTION NO. 2000-168
RECEIVING PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT AND
CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
2000 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 9901
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted February 1, 2000, a report
has been prepared with respect to certain streets in Maintenance District 17 based upon
the 1999 Pavement Management Annual Update; and
WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the reconstruction of streets by the
installation of bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, and all
necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, said report is being received by the Council on March 21, 2000;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such area in accordance
with the report and the assessment of abutting and adjacent property
within the designated 2000 Street Reconstruction Project area for all or
a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota
Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at
an estimated total cost of the improvement of $2,447,400.81.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the
25th day of April 2000 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City
Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:00 p.m., and the Clerk shall
give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as
required by law.
