HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2000-159CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2000-159 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE VACATION OF PART OF A DRAINAGE EASEMENT FOR PONDING PURPOSES WITHIN LOT 5, BLOCK 1 INVERNESS ADDITION WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06, Steven W. Jantzen has petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the following: To vacate part of a perpetual drainage easement for ponding purposes originally dedicated in the recorded plat of INVERNESS ADDITION, Hennepin County, Minnesota contained within Lot 5, Block 1 described as follows: Beginning at the southeast corner of said Lot 5, thence North 08 degrees 20 minutes 00 seconds West assumed bearing along the East line of said Lot 48.00 feet; thence South 89 degrees 01 minutes 50 seconds West 36.66 feet; thence South 55 degrees 03 minutes 43 seconds West 190.00 feet to the South line of said Lot 5, thence North 72 degrees 44 minutes 30 seconds East along said South line 208.77 feet to the point of beginning. Excepting therefrom the South 15.00 feet and the East 10.00 feet of said Lot 5. AND WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of April 25, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law. Adopted by the City Council on March 21, 2000.
