HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2011-434CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION No. 2011-434 A RESOLUTION TO PROPOSE PROPERTY TAX LEVIES FOR TAXES PAYABLE 2012 WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the proposed operating budgets for calendar year 2012; and WHEREAS, the proposed budgets require monies to be raised from property taxes on taxable property within the City of Plymouth. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the following sums of money be raised by property tax on taxable property within the City of Plymouth for taxes payable in 2012 as set out in the proposed 2012 budget. 2012 Property Special Levies 200313 Street Reconstruction Bonds $ 179,523.75 2004A Public Safety Bonds Tax Levy Levy Base 2007A Open Space Bonds General Fund $ 22,701,000.00 Street Reconstruction $ 2,686,024.00 Recreation Fund $ 559,480.00 Park Replacement $ 130,000.00 Capital Improvement Fund $ 391,432.00 Total Levy Limit Base $ 26,467,936.00 Special Levies 200313 Street Reconstruction Bonds $ 179,523.75 2004A Public Safety Bonds $ 598,952.81 2007A Open Space Bonds $ 254,107.88 2009B Activity Center Bonds $ 412,125.00 2010A Open Space $ 264,035.63 Total Special Levies $ 1,708,745.07 Total City Levy $28,176,681.07 HRA $ 551,277.00 Total Levy $28,727,958.07 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the said property tax levy be certified to the County Auditor of Hennepin County on or before December 28, 2011.
