HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2011-425CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION No. 2011-425 A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE A TEMPORARY ENCROACHMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE MINNEHAHA CREEK WATERSHED DISTRICT FOR THE GLEASON LAKE PHASE II POND MAINTENANCE WHEREAS, the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District has requested authorization to encroach onto portions of the City's platted utility, drainage, and ponding easements within the Gleason Lake and Gleason Northshore Additions; and WHEREAS, the encroachment agreement is temporary and authorizes only activities associated with dredging sediments within the Gleason Lake Phase II Pond; and WHEREAS, the area of authorized encroachment is limited to the platted utility and drainage easements over Lots 8-11, Block I and Lot 12, Block 2 Gleason Lake Addition and the drainage easement for ponding purposes over Lot 15, Block I Gleason Northshore. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to sign, on behalf of the City of Plymouth, the agreement that will allow encroachment onto City utility, drainage, and ponding easements. Approved this 13th day of December, 2011.
