HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2000-144CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 2000-144 APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR A CUPOLA AT PROVIDENCE ACADEMY, TO BE LOCATED NORTH OF SCHMIDT LAKE ROAD AT MINNESOTA LANE (20010) WHEREAS, Providence Academy has requested approval of a conditional use permit to allow construction of a cupola on the planned building for property legally described as Lot 1, Block 1, Providence Academy; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the request at a duly called public hearing and recommends approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request by Providence Academy for a conditional use permit to allow construction of a cupola, subject to the following conditions: 1. A conditional use permit for a cupola at Providence Academy is hereby approved, in accordance with the application and plans received by the City on January 26, 2000, except as amended by this resolution. 2. The cupola would be 21 -feet high, with a cross or spire located at the top of the cupola for a total height not to exceed 30 feet. 3. Any subsequent phases or expansions are subject to required reviews and approvals per Ordinance provisions. 4. The permit is subject to all applicable codes, regulations and ordinances, and violation thereof shall be grounds for revocation. Resolution 2000-144 (20010) Page 2 of 2 5. This approval shall expire one year after the date of approval, unless the property owner or applicant has substantially started construction of the project, or unless the landowner or applicant has received prior approval from the City to extend the expiration date for up to one additional year, as regulated under Section 21015.07 of the Zoning Ordinance.
