HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2000-111CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION 2000-111 APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT FOR THE PLUM TREE EAST PUD, LOCATED NORTH OF OLD ROCKFORD ROAD, SOUTH OF THE SOO LINE RAILWAY, EAST OF PEONY LANE, AND WEST OF HOLLY LANE (99133) WHEREAS, Lundgren Bros. Construction, Inc. has requested a PUD (Planned Unit Development) Amendment for decorative entrance fencing for property legally described as: Outlots A and B, Plum Tree East; Outlots A and B, Plum Tree East 2nd Addition; and, Outlots A and B, Plum Tree East 3rd Addition. WHEREAS, the Plymouth Zoning Ordinance requires a text amendment for a PUD Amendment; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called public hearing and recommends approval; and WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted an ordinance amending the Zoning Ordinance text for the affected parcels. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does support and approve the request by Lundgren Bros. Construction, Inc. for a PUD Amendment and related Zoning Ordinance text amendment, based on the following findings: 1. The amendment is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan and the applicable PUD attributes. 2. The amendment is consistent with the spirit and intent of the Plum Tree East PUD.
