DEFFERAL OF ONE-HALF OF THE LATERAL SANITARY SEWER
ASSESSMENT FOR 1525 TROY LANE (PIN 30-118-22-34-0008)
TROY LANE SANITARY SEWER SERVICE PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 7018
WHEREAS, City Project No. 7018 provides both a lateral sanitary sewer service to the
existing house at 1525 Troy Lane (PIN 30-118-22-34-0008) and an additional lateral sanitary
sewer service to a potential lot on the parcel which can be split in the future; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously adopted lateral sanitary sewer assessments
under City Project No. 7018 for 1525 Troy Lane (PIN 30-118-22-34-0008) in the amount of
$28,810.98; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously adopted a policy regarding deferral of lateral
sanitary sewer assessments for the City; and
WHEREAS, $14,405.49 (one-half) of the lateral sanitary sewer assessment for 1525 Troy
Lane (PIN 30-118-22-34-0008) qualifies for deferral under the adopted policy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:that $14,405.49 (one-half) of the lateral sanitary
sewer assessment for PIN 30-118-22-34-0008 (1525 Troy Lane) shall be deferred for an
indefinite period in accordance with the City's Deferral of Lateral Sanitary Sewer Assessment
Policy, provided, however, that if the property is further subdivided during that indefinite
period, the deferred assessment shall become payable in full plus 5% per year accumulated
interest per the aforementioned policy as a connection charge when an application is made to
connect to the sanitary sewer.
